Wind Turbine Blade Transport — Scottish Highlands

Project Overview

This project involved the transportation of 75-metre wind turbine blades through some of the most challenging routes in the Scottish Highlands. The operation required careful coordination between our escort team, the haulier, and local authorities to ensure safe passage through narrow roads and tight junctions.

Our team conducted extensive route surveys prior to the movement, identifying potential obstacles and developing contingency plans. We coordinated with Police Scotland and local highway authorities to arrange road closures and traffic management where necessary.

The multi-day operation was completed safely and on schedule, demonstrating our capability to manage complex movements in challenging terrain.
